Untitled Light is a site specific dance work created for Luminous Gestures, a collaboration with multi-media artists Shannon Willis and Marco Pinter for the LightWorks Isla Vista Festival, which took place May 2016 in Isla Vista, CA. The festival, which was a joint effort of the UC Santa Barbara Art Department and the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission funded by the California Arts Council, invited a group of artists created temporary outdoor artworks designed to transform the central parks of Isla Vista into illuminated spaces for art, performance, and evening engagement by the community.

 

I worked with Willis, Pinter, and a group of six dancers to create movement that interacted with the large scale sculpture created by Willis and the interative projections created by Pinter and Willis.
